“What size stove will I need for my home?”
There are a number of factors to consider when buying your stove; the age of your home, the room size, number of windows, insulation etc. We understand it is a big renovative step for your home and we are here to help with advice every step of the way.

“I don’t have a chimney – can I still have a stove?”
Yes you can! However you may need to seek planning permission, so do check with your local London borough council. We can help install a ‘twin wall’ system, which allows your stove to emit the smoke safely and effectively out of your home.

The time can vary depending on your requirements and specifications, but we will provide you will a full honest quote with timescales once we have reviewed the proposed install for you.

Wood Fire Stove Installation London | FAQ

“I have taken out a gas fire, can I connect a woodburner or solid fuel stove to the gas liner?”
Unfortunately, no you can’t. The steel a gas liner is made from just won’t withstand the temperatures a flue coming from a woodburner or solid fuel stove will reach. The gas liner would need to be removed and replaced with a solid fuel liner.

“What is the difference between a woodburning and multifuel stove?”
Wood burning stoves have flat fuel beds, because wood burns most effectively on a flat bed of ash with air for combustion coming from above. Multi fuel stoves are fitted with grates, as coal and smokeless fuels need to burn on top of the grate, with air entering from beneath the fire.
